Fri, October 19, 2007 finished work on Ram Madhvani's Onida Xaria 60 sec commercial. was vfx supervisor, Lead Flame guy and line producer on this one... actual preprod meeting and previz began approximately towards the end of august...shoot ended first week of september...offline/online started a week after the shoot...1st offline presentation which was a combination of rough comps on flame and offline edit approx. after 2 weeks...then, all out work started after the presentation for 3 weeks...till actual presentation while sound was being layed out... |

Saturday, February 10, 2007 Work on director Rajat Kapoor's next movie is also underway.I'm involved in the opening title sequence.According to the director's brief, I've have come up with a look using 3d text in Flame and using lights within Flame itself to give the title "Mithya" a mysterious...intriguing look...the word means lie or an illusion and that's what I tried to put across, visually.Since the director is out of town, the DOP of the film had a look and said.."it works"...another happy customer....now lets wait for Mr. Kapoor for the final verdict...will i get approval on it? let's wait and watch.... |
